ODEW oversees and manages primary, secondary, and vocational public education, as well as career-readiness programs, for roughly 1.7 million students across Ohio.

Disability Rights Ohio
Free legal advocacy
Free virtual group workshops every third Monday, noon–1pm (for parents and educators), ending with a Q&A panel of special-education attorneys. Individual attorney guidance sessions follow, 1–3pm. Clinics resume October 2026.

Disability Rights Ohio is designated under federal law as the system to protect and advocate the rights of people with disabilities and as the Client Assistance Program under the Rehabilitation Act. The mission of Disability Rights Ohio is to advocate for the human, civil, and legal rights of people with disabilities in Ohio.
